Key Responsibilities:- We require an experienced Budgeting and Forecasting Manager to join our team in the manufacturing sector.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing departmental budgets and discussing them with heads of department.
- Meetings with budget holders to discuss results and actions.
- Preparation of forecasts with analysis and reporting of variances against budget.
- Development of bespoke departmental reporting for key stakeholders.
- Implementation of financial analysis across the finance spectrum.
- Investigation of drivers impacting business KPIs.
- Improvement of performance through cost and efficiency analysis.
- Provision of analytical support to other business functions.
- Collaboration with the Financial Control team to deliver meaningful financial data.
- Review of practices and procedures to promote continuous improvement.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing or distribution business.
- Detailed knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
- Demonstrable ability to analyse and present complex data.
- Commercial acumen with ability to interpret financials into business outcomes.
- Effective communication skills and experience of dealing with stakeholders.
- The ability to drive process improvements.
- Strong Excel skills and knowledge of SAGE 200.
- Confidence in using business management systems.
