About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Children's Physiotherapist: Paediatrics, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, effective, and efficient physiotherapy services to babies and children with respiratory conditions, including Cystic Fibrosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy services to children with respiratory conditions, including assessment, treatment, and management of complex cases.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough respiratory physiotherapy assessments and prescribe individual physiotherapy treatment plans, including airway clearance techniques, mucolytic and antibiotic/nebuliser provision/advice/set-up, exercise advice and testing.
  • Deputise for the Paediatric CF Clinical Lead when necessary.
  • Take part in the on-call/weekend rota.
Requirements
  • BSc Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
  • HCPC registration
  • Specialist knowledge, understanding, and experience in a broad range of paediatric respiratory conditions and problems (both acute and chronic)
  • Specialist knowledge and experience of CF in paediatric patients
  • Supervisory experience - staff and students
