Job Title: Lead Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital, London. As a key member of our Paediatric and Women's Health Physiotherapy team, you will be responsible for providing specialist physiotherapy assessment and interventions to children with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a complex caseload of approximately 30-50% billable units per day, using expert clinical reasoning and critical thinking to assess and treat children with complex difficulties.
  • Provide supervision to junior and senior therapists, supporting and advising them to provide high standards of physiotherapy clinical practice.
  • Support the Head of Therapies in overseeing the organisation and management of the Paediatric and Women's Health Physiotherapy team, including setting priorities and identifying shortfalls and issues to be addressed.
Requirements:
  • BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
  • Current registered member of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • At least 6 years' experience working as a Paediatric Physiotherapist in acute, community and/or education setting
  • Previous experience of people management and leading a team
  • Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge regarding developments in the field of paediatrics pertaining to your field of work
