As a key member of our small team, you'll play a vital role in developing our communications channels, enhancing our digital platforms, and delivering our communications and engagement strategy.

You'll have the opportunity to build and nurture relationships with colleagues, external partners, and the media, protecting and enhancing the reputation and brand of Derbyshire County Council.

Each day, our staff carry out work that makes a difference to the lives of others, and you'll be responsible for finding and telling these stories to enhance and raise your profile.

We're looking for someone with relevant experience and ideally professionally qualified, who is passionate about creating great communications using a mix of traditional and digital methods, including social media and short videos.

Knowledge of the services we provide would be an advantage, and you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented team to deliver a communications and engagement strategy that makes a real difference.
