About the Position

A Mechanical Supervisor is required to lead the Engineering & Manufacturing team in Rugby, ensuring smooth departmental operations and maintaining high health and safety standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering team.
  • Oversee operational aspects of the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
  • Implement health and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the team.

Essential Skills:

  • Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial / manufacturing operations and procedures.
  • 2 years' experience Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer in a cement plant would be beneficial
