Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our established team on one of our static sites. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded engineer with a strong mechanical bias, as well as experience with building controls and fabric work.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on a range of equipment, including booster pumps and building services systems.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide a customer-focused service, with a flexible attitude and a willingness to work outside of your skill base when required.
- Undertake training as necessary to maintain and develop your skills, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including computer-based and hard copy systems for statutory inspections and tests.
- Work on an on-call system, reacting quickly and effectively to respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Work on multiple sites as required, with a strong focus on flexibility and adaptability.
- C&G in plumbing/mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Strong fault-finding skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Experience of working in a client-facing role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects.
- Team player with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Good electrical and controls knowledge, with experience of working with BMS monitoring systems.
- IT literate, with experience of using computer-based systems and software.
- Driving licence, with a willingness to travel between sites as required.
- SC Clearance desirable, but not essential.
