Job Title: Female Social Personal Assistant – IPNCL

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Social Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to Irem, a 9-year-old girl with autism, in her daily life.

About the Role:

The Female Social Personal Assistant will work closely with Irem's parents to understand her needs and develop a personalized support plan. The role will involve:

  • Providing emotional support and companionship to Irem
  • Assisting Irem with daily living tasks, such as personal care and toilet training
  • Supporting Irem's communication and social interaction skills
  • Encouraging Irem to engage in her favorite activities, such as painting and trampolining
  • Accompanying Irem to swimming lessons and other activities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children with autism and special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of Irem
  • Knowledge of the Kurdish Alevi religion and culture (desirable)
