Location: Cowgate, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Hours: Term time 4 hours per week – days to be arranged, School holidays 8 hours per week- includes weekends

Rate: £13.50 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Social Personal Assistant to support Irem, a 9-year-old girl with autism, in her daily life. As Irem's PA, you will be responsible for assisting her with her daily needs, engaging her in activities she enjoys, and providing a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Irem with her daily needs, including personal care and toilet training
  • Assist Irem in engaging in activities she enjoys, such as painting, music, and swimming
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for Irem, including supervision and crisis intervention
  • Communicate effectively with Irem's parents and other professionals involved in her care

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with autism and complex needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Irem and her parents
  • High level of supervision and crisis intervention skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
