Senior Sales Manager

As a key member of our UK consumer sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and maximizing returns on investment for our customers. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will lead a team of account managers responsible for a portfolio of customers across the grocery, discounters, and distributors sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver key metrics associated with specified accounts groups, including Gross Sales, Trade Investment, Net Sales, and Market Share, to maximize returns on investment for our customers.
  • Ensure customer plans are aligned with company objectives and reflect the latest market intelligence.
  • Nurture senior-level relationships with key account contacts, including buying managers and directors.
Requirements:
  • Senior national accounts management experience, ideally gained with major UK customers.
  • Approximately 10 years of FMCG experience with major suppliers.
  • Proven people management experience and good coaching skills.
  • A strong understanding of customer processes and planning tools.
  • Possess an understanding of the complexities of logistics, Trade Spend management techniques, and promotion management.
