Job Description: Community Engagement Coordinator

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum.

The Society of Local Council Clerks is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person to join our dedicated council team as a Community Engagement Coordinator. The post holder will be responsible for implementing the recommendations from the Town Council's Strategic Plan focusing on community development.

The role involves working closely with other teams to ensure projects and activities are complementary. Key responsibilities include engaging with public, private, and voluntary stakeholders, acting as the key point of contact for community projects and activities, and liaising with other agencies to generate a stakeholder partnership.

The post holder will also be responsible for delivering the council's programme of community and civic events.
