About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Executive to support our Marketing and Communications Manager in delivering strategic initiatives to promote and enhance OBN's brand and services.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our close-knit team and contribute to the overall success of our marketing campaigns and activities.

  • You will be responsible for creating impactful & professional content for various marketing materials, including promotional materials in both print and digital form, social media posts, emails and event signage.
  • Helping to manage and update social media accounts to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitoring social media trends and identifying opportunities for content creation and audience engagement.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and sharing with social networks.
  • Managing OBN's CRM system ensuring data is kept up to date through regular cleansing.
  • Collaborating internally to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Covering Marketing Manager's role in their absence.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (Life sciences / English Language preferred).
  • ~3 years communications / marketing experience, preferably within life science environment.
  • Be fluent in social media, in particular Twitter and LinkedIn in business environment and preferably have experience of Hootsuite or similar platform.
  • Ability to create impactful & professional digital content.
  • 2 years' management experience of CRM.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (grammar, vocabulary, punctuation & spelling).
  • Highly organised / good project management & communication capabilities.

The estimated salary for this role is around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
