Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Coordinator to join our team at Graduate Hotels. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance department.



About You



  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential, with a strong background in maintenance operations and coordination
  • A good knowledge of health and safety protocols is required, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and guests
  • You must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various departments and stakeholders
  • Able to work a variety of shift patterns, including mornings, afternoons/evenings, and weekends
  • Possess a positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, while also being a team player who contributes to a collaborative and supportive work environment


Your Key Responsibilities


In this role, you will:



  1. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively
  2. Work closely with the maintenance manager to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies
  3. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance requirements and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  4. Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and concerns
  5. Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to management and other stakeholders
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues
