About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for working with our clients to deliver high-quality construction projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and use cost data derived from plans and drawings to estimate project costs
- Develop and manage project timelines and programs to ensure timely completion
- Conduct feasibility studies to identify potential project risks and opportunities
- Produce estimates, budgets, and cost plans to inform project decisions
- Undertake value engineering and comparative design studies to optimize project costs
- Utilize cost-in-use studies and life cycle costing to inform project decisions
- Prepare and interpret turnover and cash flow projections to ensure project financial stability
- Provide cost control during pre-contract phases to ensure project budget adherence
- Advise on different forms of contract and procurement routes to ensure project success
Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a Quantity Surveyor (contractor or consultancy side)
- Residential project knowledge is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of JCT Contracts
- Full UK driving license
- Relevant Quantity Surveying Degree or similar (not essential if qualified via experience)
