Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Academic Standards Officer to manage individual student academic cases, with a primary focus on academic appeals and academic misconduct.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent substantial experience in an office environment, proven experience managing office systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and strong analytical and investigative skills.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team, responsible for their own portfolio of casework and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle individual student academic cases, including academic appeals and misconduct.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all cases in compliance with institutional policies.
- Conduct detailed investigations of student cases, gather relevant information, and make recommendations based on findings.
- Extract and analyze data to inform decisions and ensure adherence to regulations.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent substantial experience in an office environment.
- Proven experience managing office systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a complex schedule of activities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to extract and evaluate information for decision-making.
- Proficiency in IT, including case management systems and standard office software.

Salary Information
The salary for this position is estimated to be between £30k to £35K per annum, depending on experience.
