Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Administration Coordinator to deliver exceptional administrative support to a team of Consultant Oncologists and their associated clinical personnel. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing clinic appointments, managing priorities, coordinating patient referrals, and acting as the primary contact within the Consultants' office. You will also provide coverage for team members during their absence and assist with various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and organizing consultant clinics
  • Document preparation and audio transcription
  • Communicating with patients and external healthcare providers
  • Providing support during colleagues' leave
  • Performing general administrative duties
Qualifications & Experience:

Education & Qualifications:

  • English GCSE or equivalent
  • Typing certification or relevant experience

Experience:

  • Administrative or secretarial experience
  • Customer service in healthcare environments
  • Experience within the NHS or GP Practice

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient typing skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Capability to perform under pressure
  • Collaborative team member

PPE Requirements: Adhere to appropriate personal protective equipment guidelines as per infection control protocols.
