About the Job
  • This permanent position involves working with children in need and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being through effective planning and intervention.
  • You will conduct home visits, assess family needs, and develop strategies to address child protection concerns and promote family stability.
  • Representing the Local Authority at court, you will provide critical evidence and contribute to case discussions to safeguard children's interests.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and external partners, you will contribute to the development of strategies to support children in need, including child protection, looked-after children, and family support initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A recognized Social Work qualification or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in a social work post, ideally in a field, residential, or family placement setting.
