Trust Manager/Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Manager/Senior Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of UK resident and charitable trusts, ensuring key deadlines for annual accounts and tax compliance are met.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage a diverse portfolio of trusts, including ensuring timely completion of annual accounts and tax compliance.
  2. Review and provide input on work prepared by team members, contributing to their training and mentoring.
  3. Assist with advisory work and ad-hoc matters, including high-level taxation and general advice on Inheritance Tax.
  4. Liaise with tax, accounts, and financial planning teams to ensure a cohesive approach.
  5. Monitor budgets, chargeability, and raise fee notes.
Candidate Criteria
  1. Hold a CTA and/or STEP qualification.
  2. Have experience in a similar role, managing a trusts portfolio in practice.
  3. Experience of charitable trusts, probate work, and estate accounts is advantageous but not essential.
  4. Working knowledge of CCH Trust Accounts and CCH Personal Tax would be beneficial.
  5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
