Job Title: Learning Disabilities and Autism Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Learning Disabilities and Autism Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced psychologist to lead our team in providing exceptional care to individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

About the Role:

  • As a Learning Disabilities and Autism Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of clinical psychologists in delivering high-quality psychological interventions and assessments to individuals with complex needs.
  • You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with colleagues to provide exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of clinical psychologists in delivering high-quality psychological interventions and assessments to individuals with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Psychology (BPS recognized)
  • UK HCPC registration
  • Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate postgraduate qualifications
  • Approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division
  • Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting
  • Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits
  • Previous experience of conducting research and project working
