Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join its Children and Young People's mental health service in North Cumbria. The successful candidate will be part of the Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) team.
This role presents an excellent opportunity to work with children and young people who are experiencing eating disorders, while contributing to the development of the team and the service as a whole. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be working closely with psychiatry, dietetics, eating disorder practitioners, assistant psychologists, and trainee psychologists to provide high-quality care to patients and families.
The CYPS service and CEDS pathway have a strong culture of continuous learning and leadership development. This means that you will have opportunities to grow professionally, develop new skills, and take on new challenges within a supportive environment.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing supervision to junior colleagues, including psychologists, trainee psychologists, and assistant psychologists. You will also work autonomously, using your professional expertise to deliver high-quality services within the framework of the service's policies and procedures.
Benefits
- We offer competitive salaries, and this position comes with a salary range of £60,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Our comprehensive benefits package includes a generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities.
- You will have the chance to work with a dedicated team that is passionate about delivering exceptional care to our patients and their families.
This role requires a Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in working with children and young people who experience eating disorders.
