Mental Health Group Facilitator

Kids Thrive, a pediatric day treatment program serving children ages 3 to 10 with expanding services across Ohio, is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Technician (MHT) to serve as a center or school-based Group Facilitator. The ideal candidate will have experience in a mental health or education setting working with young children, especially those with mental health or significant behavior difficulties.

As a Group Facilitator, you will be responsible for leading groups and supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the Clinical Director. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing day treatment group services to support the emotional and behavioral growth of our clients;
- Collaborating with therapists and other providers to deliver high-quality programs;
- Documenting daily clinical activities to ensure accurate tracking of client progress;
- Maintaining accurate records of quality and program performance measures;
- Scheduling regular meetings with the treatment team and parents/guardians to ensure seamless transitions and discharges;
- Engaging with parents/guardians and other stakeholders to foster strong relationships and communicate effectively;
The Group Facilitator will also participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance their skills and knowledge in early childhood mental health, milieu management, and therapeutic communication.
