Schools catering to neurodiverse populations require dedicated professionals who can provide high-quality education and support. As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will work with students aged 7-19, helping them achieve their goals in a nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or adults with SEN needs and/or disabilities, particularly in SEMH contexts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students with SEN needs, adapting teaching methods to meet their requirements.
  • Fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievements.
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop effective lesson plans and strategies.
  • Providing emotional support and resources to students experiencing challenges.

A competitive salary of approximately £22,000 - £28,000 per annum is offered, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, but opportunities exist for permanent employment.

At Teaching Personnel, we prioritise safeguarding and promote the welfare of children through rigorous checks and adherence to statutory guidelines. Our registered candidates receive free child protection and prevent duty training.
