Educational Support Professional

Academics Ltd is seeking an Educational Support Professional to join their team in Salisbury. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and nurturing the educational journeys of pupils with autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
The successful candidate will help inspire and motivate the pupils to learn, whilst also building their self-esteem, independence, and social skills, to provide them with a strong foundation for future success.
This role requires a genuine passion for working with children with additional learning needs. The ideal candidate will have a Psychology or Criminology background, allowing them to apply their understanding of developmental delay, atypical behavior, neurodiversity, and mental health in a practical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support during class activities
- Assist with behavior management
- Support with lunch duty
