Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Academic Coach to empower students with high needs to access learning and college facilities.

This role involves providing high-quality learning support, enabling learners to develop independence and achieve their qualifications, SMART targets, and EHCP outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enable learners with high needs to access learning and college facilities by identifying and removing barriers.
  • Provide individualized learning support to aid retention and achievement of students with high needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of support provided and make necessary adjustments.
Requirements
  • A level 2 qualification in English and Maths is essential for this role.
  • Prior experience supporting young people and adults with profound and moderate learning difficulties is required.

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
