We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Consultant to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our consultancy team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality implementation consultancy and training for our customers in the government sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Consultancy and Training: Deliver expert consultancy and training on NEC products and services to our customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions to meet their needs.
  • Extend Team Capabilities: Contribute to the development of new consultancy offerings and extend the capabilities of our team by training and mentoring others in your areas of expertise.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all consultancy and training is delivered effectively, achieving positive customer feedback and satisfaction.
  • Billable Utilization: Maximize billable utilization and contribute to the growth of our consultancy business.
  • Product Development: Assist with product development, including attending user groups and creating user guides.
  • Training and Development: Develop customer and internal training courses and maintain product manuals.
  • Seminars and Presentations: Deliver quality seminars to large customer groups and present to stakeholders.
  • Legislation and Product Knowledge: Progress and update knowledge of relevant legislation and NEC products and services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the consultancy team to achieve business objectives and support management decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in using/writing SQL, receiving and manipulating data to feed back into a database system, and working with customers and/or external agencies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to problem solve and multi-task in demanding circumstances.
  • Project Methodologies: Working knowledge of project methodologies and the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Driving License: A UK driving license and willingness to work away from home as required.
  • Advantages: Experience of creating, configuring, and implementing NEC Revenues and Benefits system modules, expertise in one or more of the following business areas, NEC products or Services: Revenues (Council Tax and/or Non-Domestic Rates), Benefits (CTR and/or HB), Working Knowledge of ORACLE SQL and/or PL/SQL, and experience in using UNIX systems.
