Job Description

">

As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Centre Manager by driving learner starts and enrolling them on to their chosen programme. This is a busy role where you need to balance the need for commercial and administrative activity on a daily basis.

">

You will need to develop links with key external stakeholders (e.g. employers, schools, local authorities, community centres and JCPs) to generate enrolments on public services programmes.

">

Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify training and employment opportunities.

">

Update the centralised vacancy database.

">

Manage employer surveys as applicable.

">

Conduct student reviews and document telephone reviews as required.

">

Support learners at programme exit and provide guidance on progression and employment opportunities.

">

Accurately record actual number of starts and pipeline figures in academy weekly performance report.

">

Report on monthly activities against set key performance indicators.

">

Drive performance against academy targets.

">

Liaise with the administration team to provide accurate information for employer Apprenticeship documentation.

">

Manage the Employer Engagement CRM database.

">

Comply with Safeguarding, Prevent, and Health and Safety Policies.

">

Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual with excellent communication skills.

You will need to have a good understanding of the education sector and be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Experience of working in a sales or business development environment would be advantageous.

A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience is required.
