Project Fostering/Adoption Specialist

A Childrens Social Worker is required to join Shropshire's project team to work on progressing discharge of Care Orders for children placed with parents and applications for Special Guardianship Orders for children already in the care of connected carers or foster carers under Care Orders.

Key Responsibilities:
⁠ ⁠Work within a small dedicated team to progress discharges and enable children to live without ongoing statutory intervention.
⁠ ⁠Collaborate with the project lead and legal department to ensure timely child and family assessments and court statements are completed.
⁠ ⁠Organise diaries and maintain focus on tasks to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:
⁠ ⁠Hold a Social Work England registration.
⁠ ⁠Be eligible to work in the UK.
⁠ ⁠Hold a full UK licence.
⁠ ⁠Post-qualified experience in Social Work.
⁠ ⁠Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
