Job Title: Social Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families who are undergoing care proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake assessments to inform permanency plans for children
  • Conduct a variety of reports and assessments, including PAMS, parenting assessments, and adoption paperwork
  • Support families and children under the pressure and process of court intervention
  • Attend multi-agency meetings to discuss case plans and progress
  • Visit children to gather their wishes and feelings, and to inform planning for their care
  • Work with children who are looked after, and undertake looked after procedures
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of child care legislation and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
