Job Title: Social Worker - Court Team

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Court Team in Shropshire. As a Social Worker, you will work with children and families who are undergoing care proceedings, providing support and guidance to help them navigate this challenging process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake assessments to inform permanency plans for children
  • Conduct a variety of reports and assessments, including PAMS, parenting, Together and apart, CPR, and adoption paperwork/assessment
  • Support families and children under the pressure and process of court intervention
  • Attend multi-agency meetings and visit children to gather their wishes and feelings
  • Work with children who are looked after and undertake looked after procedures
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
