Job Role Overview

The Family Support Specialist will be working with children and families who are undergoing care proceedings. They will be responsible for undertaking assessments that inform permanency plans for children.

The successful candidate will be supporting families and children under the pressure and process of court intervention. This will involve undertaking multi-agency meetings and visiting children to gather their wishes and feelings.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a qualified social worker with experience of working with children and families. They will be child-focused and evidence-based in their approach.
