About the Role

The Association of Directors of Public Health is seeking a skilled Communications and Marketing Manager to develop and lead our external communications and marketing programme. This role will work closely with the Head of External Affairs to broaden our reach and ensure the DPH voice has impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to engage with stakeholders and promote the Association's work.
  • Manage and lead cross-team projects to achieve marketing and communications objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Project Administrator to support the development of marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Provide expert advice on communications and marketing best practices to the Association's leadership team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications and marketing activities.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in communications and marketing, with experience in working with the media and producing engaging content for a range of channels and audiences. Excellent interpersonal and prioritisation skills are essential for this role.

The Association operates a hybrid working arrangement, and candidates from across the UK are welcome to apply. However, they will be required to attend meetings and events in central London during the year.
