Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Community Public Health Nurse to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to children and families in our community.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a qualified nurse with a strong background in community health. You will be based at one of our youth hubs, working closely with a nominated Practice Supervisor and a Practice Assessor. Your primary responsibility will be to provide health assessments for children and families, working in partnership with local service providers to develop and support services.

As a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, delegating to and supervising the work of the skill mix team. You will also work closely with local children's agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified nurse with a strong background in community health. The essential qualifications and experience include:

  • RGN (any branch)
  • CPD to university level
  • Access to a car daily and a full UK driving licence
  • Has CYP/community experience
  • Safeguarding CYP - working knowledge of
  • Working knowledge of healthy child programme
