About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Oncologist to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality cancer care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership in the management of gynaecological and breast cancers, including participation in multidisciplinary meetings and provision of clinical leadership in a management role.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a local cancer service to patients with gynaecological and breast cancers.
  • Contribute to the ongoing research projects using the clinical and/or laboratory facilities available.
  • Act as clinical/educational supervisor to locally employed doctors and doctors in training programmes of a variety of grades and experience.
  • Participate in departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit.
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • MRCP Part 1 and Part 2.
  • Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council.
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in Medical Oncology.
  • Wide experience of prescribing chemotherapy including E-prescribing.
  • Experience of Acute Oncology.
