Medical Oncology Specialist

To deliver high-quality oncological care to patients within the trust, contributing to the development of the service.
Clinical Responsibilities- Collaborate with colleagues to provide a local cancer service for patients with gynaecological and breast tumours.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings reviewing histology and radiology.
- Provide clinical leadership as Gynaecology and Breast Oncology Lead.
- Contribute to ongoing research projects using clinical and laboratory facilities.
- Teach and train junior staff, medical students, and healthcare professionals.
- Act as clinical/educational supervisor to doctors in training programmes.
- Implement evidence-based new ways of working and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
