To deliver high-quality oncological care to patients within the trust, contributing to the development of the service.

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a local cancer service for patients with gynaecological and breast tumours.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings reviewing histology and radiology.
  • Provide clinical leadership as Gynaecology and Breast Oncology Lead.
  • Contribute to ongoing research projects using clinical and laboratory facilities.
Organisational Responsibilities
  • Teach and train junior staff, medical students, and healthcare professionals.
  • Act as clinical/educational supervisor to doctors in training programmes.
  • Implement evidence-based new ways of working and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
