Capital Finance Business Partner Opportunity

Castlefield Recruitment is working with a London-based Local Authority to find a Strategic Capital Finance Business Partner to join their Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the annual capital budget, ensuring a sound and robust financial plan.
  • Lead a team of 3 finance staff, providing line management and budgetary control.
  • Support the Deputy S151 and deputise as required, providing direct assistance.
  • Manage service level budgets and resources, ensuring effective allocation.
  • Lead small capital projects, implementing changes and improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team, attending meetings with senior stakeholders and elected officials.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification, such as a degree in finance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Local Authority Capital Accounting principles.
  • Extensive experience in Local Government Finance, with a proven track record of success.
