Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Decision Making: Make informed strategic decisions and translate them into corporate policy and strategic advice.
- Financial Planning and Business Partnering: Support the Head of Financial Planning & Business Partnering to provide expert advice and guidance.
- Capital Investment Programmes: Take responsibility for leading and managing the development of the organisation's Capital investment programmes.
- Policy Interpretation and Application: Apply professional judgement to interpret and apply policies and procedures to meet specific local or service needs.
- Staff Management: Provide day-to-day management and professional supervision to staff to ensure operational plans and activities are delivered effectively.
Requirements:
- Professional Qualification: Hold a relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIPFA, CIMA, MBA etc) or demonstrable equivalent experience of operating at that level.
- Capital Investment Experience: Experience in developing and implementing capital investment strategies and programmes.
- Treasury Alignment: Experience aligning the capital strategies with the treasury strategy by working closely with colleagues across the finance unit.
- End of Year Closing: Experience leading the end of year closing of accounts processes for capital and ensuring all capital transactions are appropriately reflected in the organisation's accounts.
