People Operations Specialist

We are seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our team at Starling Bank Limited. This role will be based in our Cardiff office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaching and Development: Provide day-to-day advice and feedback to senior leaders and managers to enhance their leadership effectiveness.
  • Reward: Inform decision-making for reward processes and provide market analysis and insight.
  • Talent Management: Identify and actively manage our talent to retain and develop our people.
  • Recruitment, Planning, and Onboarding: Work with our in-house recruitment resources to grow talented, diverse teams.
  • HR Operations and MI: Provide input to the People Operations team to ensure accurate data and take responsibility for reporting to support our people decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in an HR or People function, with a solid grounding as a generalist.
  • Experience working in financial services.
  • A strength or preference in Reward, Engagement, or Talent Management would be a useful addition to the team.
  • An understanding of Risk and Regulatory requirements, and a willingness to develop your knowledge further.
  • Able to deliver effective results and meet deadlines in a flexible, organic, fast-paced environment.
