About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled People Partner to join our team at Starling Bank. As a key member of our People function, you will play a critical role in delivering our People plan and working closely with our Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culture and Engagement: Listen to employee feedback, identify areas for improvement, and deliver change to support and promote our culture.
  • Coaching and Development: Work with senior leaders and managers to improve their leadership effectiveness by providing day-to-day advice and feedback.
  • Reward: Inform decision-making for reward processes and provide market analysis and insight.
  • Talent Management: Identify and actively manage our talent, ensuring we retain and develop our people.
  • Recruitment, Planning, and Onboarding: Work with our in-house recruitment resources to grow talented, diverse teams.
  • Organisational Design: Provide proactive advice to improve the effectiveness of our teams and manage change as we scale.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Partner with our Talent Acquisition Team to ensure we continue to hire strong candidates and meet the resource needs of our growing business.
  • HR Operations and MI: Provide input to the People Operations team to ensure accurate data and take responsibility for reporting to support our people decision-making.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in an HR or People function, which has given you a solid grounding as a generalist.
  • Experience working in financial services.
  • A strength or preference in Reward, Engagement, or Talent Management would be a useful addition to the team.
  • An understanding of Risk and Regulatory requirements, and a willingness to develop your knowledge further.
  • Strong execution skills and acute attention to detail.
  • An ability to operate within a fast-paced, growing business environment; to continuously improve and adapt to change business requirements.
  • Numerate, with an evidence-based approach to decision-making.
  • Able to deliver effective results and meet deadlines in a flexible, organic, fast-paced environment.
