About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities to maximise their potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to encourage customers to achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Be a first point of contact for customers and their families, responding to their needs and concerns
  • Support customers to develop skills and strategies to manage their mental health and well-being
  • Offer one-to-one support and guidance to customers as needed
  • Promote safety and well-being by conducting risk assessments and reviewing customer needs
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and support plans for customers
  • Build professional relationships with customers, using effective communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy, and dignity are respected
  • Deliver small group activities to promote recovery and well-being

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working with adults with physical/learning disabilities or high needs
  • Ability to relate and empathise with people with physical/learning disabilities
  • Capacity to work effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Experience with developing and maintaining accurate records and support plans
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages and internet communications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
