**Job Role**:Housing Support Worker

**Salary**:£23,240 per annum

**Hours**:37.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday

**Contract type**:Permanent

**Location**:Trowbridge

**Additional information**:

- On-call (1 in 4 weeks), £100/week when on-call

**The Role**:
The successful Housing Support Worker will provide person centred, high quality support and housing management service to clients in recovery from substance misuse, providing guidance and opportunities to enable the achievement of a sustainable, independent life.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Support clients in addiction living within Julian House recovery service.
- Ensure clients receive regular medical/clinical reviews and follow up any changes in prescribed treatment, to be integrated into recovery plans.
- Carry out the client referral and assessment process
- Co-ordinate and deliver meaningful opportunities for clients to develop confidence and skills, while focusing on client involvement and regular house meetings.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Health or Social Care qualification at degree level or equivalent
- A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel to work
- Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs
