Project Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities to maximize their potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to encourage customers to achieve their goals and live independently
  • Act as a first point of contact for customer queries and concerns
  • Support customers in managing their mental health and well-being
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure positive outcomes and maintain tenancies
  • Offer one-to-one support and regular assessments to inform support plans
  • Develop professional relationships with customers, respecting their choices and dignity
  • Deliver small group activities to promote recovery and well-being
  • Conduct health and safety checks within the service

Requirements:

  • Experience working with adults with physical/learning disabilities or high needs
  • Understanding of housing and tenancy applications and processes
  • Ability to relate and empathize with individuals with physical/learning disabilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages and internet communications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
