We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Public Health Nurse to join our team in Oxford. As a key member of our 0-19 service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and families in the community.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Community Public Health Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering health promotion activities through school and community-based initiatives
- Conducting Healthy Child Programme transitional assessments and planning
- Working in partnership with children, young people, families, primary care, schools, and statutory and voluntary services to facilitate health-enhancing activities and improve health outcomes
- Developing, participating, and maintaining interagency networks
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A First Level Registered Nurse or Midwife qualification
- Practice assessor/supervisor experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competent knowledge and skills in IT packages, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
