About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Handler to join our Marine Hull and War division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, creating open market MRCs, and preparing client documentation accurately following regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts within a subteam of 5, including Brokers and Account Handlers
  • Create open market MRCs, facility declaration off-slips, and endorsements
  • Prepare client documentation accurately following regulations
  • Submit and send MRC slips to Underwriters
  • Manage all renewals and adjustments in a timely and professional manner
  • Process risks into the in-house broking system
  • Generate debit/credit notes to clients and issue closings to underwriters
  • Calculate and process premiums across Hull & War Placements
  • Address queries effectively and promptly to ensure client and market satisfaction
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in the London Insurance Market within a similar role
  • Ability to cope with a busy working environment
  • Proficient preparation of MRC slips with attention to detail
  • Experience in premium processing
  • Working knowledge of placing platforms
  • Ability to work 3 days in the office
