Marine Hull Claims Handler

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marine (Hull & Machinery) Claims Handler to join our team. As a Senior Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling a variety of high-value and contentious Marine Hull & Machinery Claims from first notification of loss through to settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Marine Hull & Machinery Claims from cradle to grave, including processing claims, managing claim movements, and setting up initial advice.
- Manage key accounts, including maintaining and building on current Claims relationships.
- Work closely with underwriters, brokers, and other stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and excellence in claims handling.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Marine Hull & Machinery Claims handling, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of Marine Hull & Machinery insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
