Marine Hull Claims Specialist

Join a leading Global Lloyd's Insurance Broker in the heart of the City of London and take on a challenging role as a Senior Marine (Hull & Machinery) Claims Handler.

About the Role:
- Handle a variety of high-value and contentious Marine Hull & Machinery Claims from first notification of loss through to settlement.
- Process claims, manage their movements, and set up initial advice, logging each relevant movement on the internal/ECF system.
- Manage key accounts, maintaining and building on the current Claims relationship, including regular meetings and providing Claims reports to senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Cargo placing team, keeping them abreast with updates and relevant trends in the market and reporting directly to the Claims manager.
Requirements:
- Significant Marine Hull & Machinery claims experience.
- In-depth understanding of the market, including how policies are structured, premiums are signed, and market systems work together.
- High degree of knowledge and experience using the ECF/CLASS system.
- Excellent analytical and Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
