Marine Hull Claims Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Hull Claims Specialist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Marine Hull Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for handling a variety of high-value and contentious Marine Hull and Machinery Claims from first notification of loss through to settlement.
About the Role:- Process and manage Marine Hull and Machinery Claims from cradle to grave
- Manage key accounts and maintain and build on current Claims relationships
- Work closely with the Cargo placing team to keep them abreast of updates and relevant trends in the market
- Report directly to the Claims manager
- Significant Marine Hull and Machinery claims experience
- In-depth understanding of the market, including how policies are structured and how premiums are signed
- Strong analytical skills and experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- High degree of knowledge and experience using the ECF/CLASS system
- Competitive salary of up to £75,000 (dependent on experience)
