Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Insurance Account Handler to join our Hull team at Next Employment. As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing allocated client accounts, handling day-to-day issues and renewals, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare market documents, including renewal statistics, MRC slips, and endorsements
  • Market renewals and upload to PPL
  • Prepare documents for clients and their agents
  • Process premium and resolve any issues or problems with business partners
  • Attend regular meetings at team and group level
  • Represent the team in new and ongoing projects

Requirements:

  • Experience in Marine Insurance, the London market, and PPL
  • Good working knowledge of Institute Clauses, Nordic Plan, and other international clauses
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel and Word
  • Proactive and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and presentation
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Commitment to sharing ideas and knowledge, and a desire for professional development
