Job Title: Sports Educator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sports Educator to join our team at GSL Education.

About the Role: As a Sports Educator, you will be responsible for supporting the class teacher and multi-agency teams in devising learning and care plans for children and young people with various SEN, including SEMH, Attachment Disorder, Autism, ADHD, Aggression, and those from LAC backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the class teacher in developing and implementing learning plans that cater to the individual needs of each child

* Collaborate with multi-agency teams to devise care plans that promote the child's emotional, social, and academic well-being

* Set clear boundaries and manage triggers of challenging behaviour

* Provide academic, emotional, and social support to the child

Requirements:

* Experience working with young people in a support setting

* Experience working with challenging behaviour in an education, secure, residential, or support setting

* Background in Challenging SEN Provisions, Youth/Community/Social services, Residential Support, or Mental Health Support Services

* Team Teach, Mappa, Nappi, or Pillars training (desired but not necessary)

* Clear Enhanced DBS registered to the update service
