Emotional Support Worker

At Aspris Childrens Services, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care and support to our young residents. As an Emotional Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting their physical and emotional health, and helping them to develop life skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. With a focus on building strong relationships and promoting positive outcomes, you will help our young people to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing one-to-one support to our young residents, helping them to develop life skills and promote their physical and emotional health;
• Participating in regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders;
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or incidents in accordance with company policies and procedures;
• Collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of child development and behaviour, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also require a calm and patient approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including paid training, comprehensive induction programme, and opportunities for career progression.
