Mental Health Support Assistant

The Aspris Childrens Services is a leading provider of residential care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Assistant to join our team at West View, where you will work closely with our young residents to provide emotional support and promote their overall well-being.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £22,500 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including paid training, comprehensive induction programme, and opportunities for career progression.
Job Description
In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to our young residents, helping them to develop life skills, and promoting their physical and emotional health. You will also contribute to the development of individualised care plans and participate in regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of child development and behaviour, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also require a calm and patient approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
