Account Growth Specialist

**Job Description:**
We are looking for an experienced Senior Key Account Manager to join our team at Nicholas Associates in Warwick. As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a well-known market leading account, driving revenue growth and profitability.
You will work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance and production, to ensure alignment and support for key account initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing key accounts, experience of managing and developing large retail accounts, and strong interpersonal skills for building trust-based relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximise growth opportunities within existing key accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within each key account.
- Understand the unique needs and challenges of each account and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor for the Photo category, providing insights and recommendations to help achieve our agreed business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for key account initiatives.
- Monitor individual key account performance versus plan and identify areas for improvement or expansion.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for the Sales Director and the Management Team on account performance and strategic initiatives.
- Management of two Key Account Managers and the Sales Support Coordinator.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts.
- Experience of managing and developing large retail accounts.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building trust-based relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tenacious, self-motivated and driven for sales success.
- Positive attitude and initiative to exploit opportunities.
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills.
- Problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- IT proficiency with Microsoft Office.
